Anxiety & Panic
Anxiety can be either situational or generalized. Situational anxiety is normal, everyone feels it sometimes: A big exam, a job interview, a marriage, public speaking, even a new pet. Generalized Anxiety can be more pervasive. there may be no good “reason” or “root” of the anxiety. Anxiety can hijack our mind and body, creating a fight/flight/freeze/fawn response to what might seem like “simple” or “little” Stressors, even causing panic where none is necessary. Learning tools and triggers to combat anxiety can make you feel more in control of yourself and your body, while still honoring the validity of what your anxiety is trying to tell you.
